Originally from Sydney Lachlan has a strong sporting background, having spent 20 years playing competitive rugby and league. After moving to New Zealand over a year ago he has dedicated his time to helping people reach their health and fitness goals. In his spare time Lachlan stills plays competitive league whilst providing strength and conditioning training.
With a young family Lachlan understands the struggle to find the time for training but maintains the ability to help people juggle the demands of life and still find time to achieve their goals. He considers himself a motivation specialist and strives to not only bring out the best in each individual, but also help them find the time to do this.

I have been training with Lachlan now for approximately 6 months, and meet him at Fit Fit Fit two to three times a week for workout sessions.
Having previously been a member of another gym for over 5 years, I have a good comparison with the “style” of the Fit Fit Fit gym and Lachlan. That style is to concentrate on core strength rather than simply lifting heavy weights. That change of style has made a remarkable change to my core strength which I notice particularly when playing golf (a 20 metre increase in shots off the tee).
For a trainer, maintaining motivation and variety for regular clients who attend multiple sessions per week, can be difficult. However, Lachlan works hard to develop a tailored health and fitness plan and to ensure my workouts are varied and challenging. As a result, I've never felt my workouts are repetitive or that my progress had stagnated. To date Lachlan has been a catalyst for positive change in my life – in addition to the above improvements, I have maintained a good weight, have built muscle and decreased body fat.
I would happily recommend Lachlan as a personal trainer to anyone interested in improving their health and wellbeing.
Lachlan McLeod has been my personal trainer since January 2011. During this time, Lachlan has assisted me in setting and working towards my own fitness goals with a range of individually tailored, challenging and fun workouts. Lachlan has kept each session fresh and different, making it easy to stay motivated and inspired to take on new challenges.
I have also participated in group and team training programmes organised and run by Lachlan. Within these groups it has been a great team experience yet Lachlan has also managed to maintain the personal touch so that each individual can work at their own level.
