B.Ed, Dip.Teaching(Prim), REPS registered Personal Trainer and Exercise Instructor
A lifelong interest and involvement in sport and exercise has brought Jo to Fit Fit Fit. Originally trained as a teacher, Jo spent the late nineties and most of the noughties traveling, living and exercising in Europe and North America.
Whilst in London she qualified as a Fitness Instructor and taught Les Mills Body Pump, Body Balance and Spinning, while in Vancouver she focused on Bootcamp classes. In 2007 Jo returned to Auckland and completed her Personal Training Qualification. Much of her spare time is spent training for half marathons and off road winter running races as well as attending regular yoga classes and workshops.
Jo maintained a high level of fitness throughout the pregnancy, birth and early years of her daughter and believes in the benefits of overall health and wellbeing and taking regular "me time". Jo shares a holistic approach to fitness which includes cardiovascular, strength and flexibility training balanced with nutrition, rest and recovery. |
